Amanda is the Owner and Operator of Cloud Nine Pet Boarding, and has a lifelong passion for animal care. Beyond her personal pursuit of gold-standard pet-sitting for several years in her formative years… She is also a Certified Veterinary Medical Assistant (NAIT 2012), trained in Animal Health Technology (NAIT 2014), is a Fear-Free Certified Professional, a member of the Alberta Fear Free Alliance (AFFA), and holds current certification in Pet First Aid (Walks N’ Wags). Amanda also held the managerial role at an Edmonton Area-based Kennel from 2017-2021, during which time the Kennel received the Community Votes Platinum Award for the Edmonton and Surrounding Area (2021).

With rescued fur-babies (with varying levels of social-skills) of her own, Amanda understands the discomfort of leaving them in someone else’s care while being away. This is why she operates with the mentality of caring for your loved ones as if they are her own! Putting the needs of your pet first, is her priority.

Shae has been a Senior Animal Care Attendant since 2021. She is an Animal Health Technologist (NAIT 2024) and has a keen interest in our reptilian/amphibian & other exotic friends! Her passion for animal-care and certification in Pet First Aid (Walks N’ Wags) are an incredible asset to our Cloud Nine team. She is also a fully-certified, Professional Dog-Groomer (Prestige Dog Grooming School) offering Bath & Tidy and Full-Grooming services for our canine guests.

Samantha is a Senior Animal Care Attendant at Cloud Nine and has been with us since opening day. Growing up on a local farm, she has always had a passion for taking care of a wide variety of animals. Her extensive experience with animal behaviour and certification in Pet First Aid (Walks N’ Wags) coupled with her sunny disposition, make her a pro at mingling dogs into their play groups.

Emma is an Animal Care Attendant here at Cloud Nine. She has 10+ years of pet boarding experience and has had numerous pets of her own. Her calm demeanour and gentle energy make her a natural caregiver. Emma primarily establishes our playgroups for our canine guests and has extensive knowledge in canine body-language & behaviour.

Brittany is an Animal Care Attendant here at Cloud Nine. She worked as a Veterinary Assistant for several years at a well-known Emergency Veterinary Medicine clinic in Edmonton. Her skillset and experience are important assets to our fast-paced environment. Her vibrant demeanour is well-suited in providing all of our guests with stimulating play sessions, as well as personalized, one-on-one enrichment activities.

Nadine is an Animal Care Attendant with previous working experience as a Health Care Aide. Her attention to detail and cleaning protocols are essential in maintaining our high-standards of cleanliness, care and organization within the facility. She has life-long, personal experience caring for cats and dogs that have varying medical needs and social-skills. Nadine is certified in Pet First Aid (Walks N’ Wags) and has a keen interest in Canine Behaviour.

Jaidon is our Weekend Operations Manager and certified Dog Groomer (Prestige Dog Grooming School) offering Bath & Tidy and Full-Grooming for our canine clients. She also works closely with a local rescue organization (Zoe’s Animal Rescue), has numerous years of pet boarding experience, holds certification in Pet First Aid, and loves working with animals of all kinds. Her knowledge and experience with rescues is a huge asset to our team.
